The instructions are recommended to try the best of our ability to explain the use of an Xbox 360 hard drive transfer cable with a Windows PC, and a piece of software (XPlorer360) to transfer saved games, media, etc., from your XBOX 360 in disk format to a new hard drive formatted XBOX 360.

Using "Xplorer360_extreme2" to transfer saved games on your Xbox 360 HDD

Begin:

We recommend using Xplorer360_extreme2 because the software is known
to be compatible with all versions of the Xbox 360 in the form of hard disk.

We also recommend using Xplorere360_extreme2 because you can access
information on your disk without directly connecting the hard disk a
internal SATA port, but can use a cable bridge USB-ATA/ATAPI.

Note: cable bridge USB-ATA/ATAPI is the same cable that is disrupted
by the original manufacturer to transfer the contents of the hard drive using the XBOX360
and related software for the XBOX360. THIS process involves your PC
because this software is not available for resale.

Good luck! Please try to remember this process is not guaranteed. If you do not feel
You can complete the steps thinking about Microsoft and requesting a copy of the
HDD DVD transfer software for XBOX360 (only avalible for them).

What you need:
Source XBOX360 hard drive (if you want to retrieve your saved games, media, etc.) from
Destination XBOX360 hard drive (usually larger)
XBOX360 USB transfer cable (sometimes referred to as a bridge USB-ATA/ATAPI)
A Windows PC with a local hard drive with enough free space for your data

Instructions (do not worry if seems wordy, its only 5 steps!)

1. Connect your (original data source) XBOX360 formatted hard drive to your PC:

(A) using your USB transfer - preferred

This is preferable because you do not need to open your player or your
computer.

(B) to connect the drive directly to an internal SATA port.

This is possible, but you must open your XBOX360 HDD enclosure, open PC
and connect the drive directly to the internal power adapters (usually only
available on the computer case tower-style)

2. Verify that the drive is actually recognized. Have you been invited by
Windows new hardware was detected, installed, and / or ready?

4. Select "Partition 3", then click:

Edit -> Extract.

Select a folder you know you can find the system files from your computer
(Desktop works well).

A file will be created on the desktop and a "progress" bar for each file appears.
This process can be extremely long as the data size and drive speed
in your computer and equipment varies. Do not let your computer go to standby or power
during this process.

Remember that you will need space on your local computer's hard drive or greater
that the amount of data you transfer from your drive.

5. Once this process is complete, follow the same steps above to connect your
new, purpose XBOX360 hard drive. Locate the score "3" this folder in the hard disk Xplorer360.

Now locate your original data on your local computer, and drag the contents
Partition "3" directory (on the local computer) to your "Partition 3" (directory)
in Xplorer360. Remember you do not move the file directory, but all records
and items in the folder on your local computer in the directory Xplorer360

You will receive a dialog box "data injection progress." Again this process
can be very long. Once it has finished the progress bar should disappear.
Do not let your computer go to standby or off during this process.

6. Remove and connect your new hard drive on an Xbox console to see if your data
successfully transferred. If your games have not been transferred or
you receive an error please feel free to contact us.
