I just bought Rockband 2 For Xbox 360, but why is my guitar and drums do not work?

It is wireless and is battery, but now I'm starting to wonder if I need the wireless network adapter for the guitar and drums to connect. Am I right?

the wireless network adapter has nothing to do with drums and guitar. You have to sync the guitar / drums before playing with the Xbox. there should have instructions in the box. Also, make sure you have only one regular active controller because the Xbox can only handle four controllers at any time regradless if you have a drum set and guitar btw you did not think it would work right on the box? The reason for your first Xbox Controller worked right of the box, because it was pre-synchronized with the Xbox
