Hello when I play my old games my original Xbox on my Xbox 360 does upscaling the image to 480P?

Hi I am using cable-toHDMI HDMI. When I put my old original Xbox Games on my Xbox 360, would it upscales 480P? I do not think it could upscale 720P because the original Xbox disc it does not support it. My question is would it upscale to 480P?
