How good is av new HDMI cable from Microsoft for the Xbox 360?

I had one of the new systems Xbox 360 with HDMI, only to discover that if I HDMI, I could not connect to my separate stereo speakers as well. I read about this AV cable HDMI, but I want to know how it will look compared to my current quality HDMI cable.
